Description:
This Insulated Charging EOT Crane, supplied by Henan Mine Crane Co., Ltd. for Tianshan Aluminium Industry with rated lifting capacity of 32/8t+25t, is developed on the basis of standard insulated overhead crane by adding an independent charging trolley, specially tailored for core production procedures inside aluminium electrolysis workshops. Designed to operate reliably under extremely harsh working conditions featuring high-temperature molten salt, heavy electric current, intense magnetic field, dense industrial dust and corrosive hydrogen fluoride atmosphere, it integrates multi-functional hoisting, raw material feeding and molten Aluminium metering functions as a core dedicated handling equipment for primary aluminium smelting lines.

Main Process Functions:
The crane completes diversified critical operations for electrolytic cell production as below:

Adding aluminium fluoride into electrolytic pots to regulate electrolyte composition;

Hoisting upper structures and pot shells of electrolytic cells for installation, maintenance and overhaul;

Tapping molten aluminium from pots with accurate weight measurement and data statistics;

Lifting anode busbar raising frames during regular anode busbar adjustment work;

General spare hoisting and auxiliary material transportation for daily miscellaneous workshop tasks.
Overall Structural Composition:
The equipment consists of the bridge frame, end carriage travelling mechanism, service trolley, aluminium tapping trolley, independent charging trolley, full electrical control system, air compressor & pneumatic control assembly as well as hydraulic station and hydraulic oil control system, adopting an advanced three-beam three-trolley structural layout for optimal operation zoning:

The main bridge girders are fitted with offset arranged running rails: service trolley and aluminium tapping trolley travel on the same track, while the dedicated charging trolley runs on a separate side track to avoid mutual motion interference.

The end carriage travelling unit adopts an 8-wheel & 2-drive configuration equipped with shaft-mounted three-in-one reducers and horizontal guiding wheels for stable linear movement and anti-deflection performance.
1. Service Trolley
Similar to conventional hook overhead crane in hoisting structure, it is mainly responsible for common component and spare part hoisting; its travelling mechanism also uses shaft-mounted three-in-one integrated drive for compact layout and easy maintenance.
2. Aluminium Tapping Trolley
A special-purpose unit dedicated to molten aluminium extraction and heavy cargo lifting with identical structural layout as the service trolley. It is equipped with rigid guiding frames to eliminate hook swing during lifting; the insulated anti-magnetic hook prevents current conduction under high magnetic field environment. Built-in electronic weighing system supports real-time display of single-pot aluminium tapping volume, cumulative output and total molten aluminium weight via on-site large-screen monitor. It also applies three-in-one shaft-mounted drive for trolley travel.
3. Charging Trolley
Composed of travelling drive unit, trolley frame, material storage bin, winch-driven blanking pipeline, upper/lower level limit sensors for silo, electronic level measuring device and feed control valves. The integrated three-in-one travelling drive ensures accurate positioning during fluoride feeding to electrolytic cells.
Auxiliary Configuration & Humanized Design:
Both operator’s cabin and electrical control room are equipped with industrial heating & cooling air conditioners, creating a comfortable working environment for operators amid the high-temperature, corrosive electrolysis production environment and effectively protecting internal electrical components against extreme ambient temperature fluctuation.
Application Note:
This 32/8t+25t specification insulated charging overhead crane has been formally delivered and put into service at Tianshan Aluminium’s electrolytic production workshop, satisfying the full-process hoisting and charging demands of the enterprise’s aluminium electrolysis production line.
