Description:
Electromagnetic overhead crane from Henan Mine Crane Co., Ltd. (brand: KY) is a professional heavy-duty lifting equipment, mainly used in steel mills, shipyards, ports, scrap yards and other working conditions for lifting magnetic ferrous metals such as steel plates, steel coils, billets, pig iron and scrap steel.
The basic structure of an electromagnetic bridge crane is identical to that of a hook-type bridge crane; the only difference is that the hook is fitted with a DC lifting electromagnet, which is used to hoist ferromagnetic ferrous metals and their products. An AC power supply is converted into DC power by means of a thyristor-based DC unit installed within the operator's cab; this DC power is then transmitted via cable to the electromagnet through a specialized cable reel mounted on the trolley.
